Make sure you are here for the Super Bowl on Sunday night. It is going to be an amazing night. We are bringing in a better screen since we are going high def this year... It's going to rock our worlds. Jeff and I are also working out details for some massive sound as well. I want you to FEEL every tackle!

Don't forget to bring your best friend, 2 two-liters of soda and some tailgate food to share. I'll be doing Buffalo Wings, Burgers and Hot Dogs on the Smoker for everyone to go along with your munchies.

Your Opinion Wanted

As a young United Methodist, your input is needed on an important initiative.

 

Thanks to our alliance with the United Nations Foundation (UNF) and the Nothing But Nets campaign, awareness is growing regarding malaria and the church's ability to make a difference in the lives of those who suffer with the disease.

 

Every 30 seconds a child dies from malaria, a preventable disease that has an annual economic impact of $12 billion in Africa alone. It is time for us to do more.

We now have a rare opportunity to partner with the UNF and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria as we put into action the promise of the church's Global Health Initiative. In preparation for this landmark campaign to conquer malaria, we are engaged in a planning and feasibility study to test our capacity for raising $75 million-$100 million.

Key Largo Deposit Deadline

 

If you are in Senior High and plan to go on our annual Key Largo retreat this summer (June 9^th – the 14^th) get your $100 deposit in by January 27^th! Total cost of the trip is $225.
